Supply Scope by Shape
The shapes of pressure vessel heads manufactured by Dingjin can mainly be classified into convex, conical, flat and combined shapes. Among them, convex heads include spherical, elliptical and disc-shaped ones, etc.
Classify by surface shape
The convex heads produced by Dingjin are classified as follows:
Spherical heads: They have high strength and uniform force distribution, but are relatively difficult to manufacture and are suitable for high-pressure vessels.
Elliptical head: It has good comprehensive performance and is relatively easy to manufacture. It is one of the most widely used types of heads.
Disc-shaped head: Under the same inner diameter and plate thickness conditions, it can save materials and is often used in medium and low-pressure vessels.
Conical head: The shell is conical in shape, facilitating the removal of viscous liquids and materials containing solid particles, and can be used for special process requirements.
Flat head: It has a simple structure and relatively low cost, but its pressure-bearing capacity is relatively weak, making it suitable for low-pressure vessels.
Combined head: It is composed of heads of different shapes. For example, by combining a convex head with a cylinder, it can meet both strength and safety requirements.

Supply Scope by Material
The elliptical heads produced by Dingjin are classified by material as follows:
Youdaoplaceholder0 stainless steel heads : such as 304, 321, 304L, 316, 316L, 310S, 2205 duplex stainless steel heads, etc.
Youdaoplaceholder0 carbon steel heads : including A3, 20#, Q235, Q345B, 16Mn;
Titanium heads: TA1, TA2, TA3, TA10, etc. are all common materials for head processing.
Composite material heads: Composite materials include 15Mo3, 15CrMoV, 35CrMoV, 45CrMo, etc.
In addition, Dingjin can also manufacture other metal materials such as aluminium, copper and nickel.

Heat Treatment Technology Applicable
Dingjin strictly controls the heat treatment process during the thermoforming of the head to prevent the head from deforming due to thermal stress caused by temperature differences. This batch of thermoformed heads is made of a single plate and has no welds, so there is no need to consider the heating width of the welds. Dingjin controlled the heat treatment temperature at 620±10, and the temperature difference inside the furnace did not exceed 65. After the heat preservation is completed, the head is slowly cooled down to below 100 degrees with the furnace before being taken out for cooling.
