Applicable Standard
The end caps fabricated by Dingjin can be summarized into two different and non-interchangeable pipe flange systems: one is the European pipe flange system represented by Germany; the other is the American pipe flange system represented by the United States. In addition, there is also the Japanese JIS pipe flange, but it is generally only used for public works in petrochemical plants and has little influence internationally. Difference Between End Cap and Dish Head
1. Size
Stainless steel round caps are just plugs for pipes. If the DN exceeds 300 manufactured by Dalian DIngjin, they must be replaced by dish heads. If they are under pressure, strength verification must be carried out. While the size of stainless steel dish heads is larger, usually based on the inner diameter, and the height of the straight edge is higher than that of stainless steel pipe cap.
2. Processing method
Because the pipe cap is relatively small in size, it can be forged; while the stainless steel head is much larger in size, and normally needs to be pressed with a steel plate.
3. Location
The pipe cap is used at the end of the pipe, while the stainless steel dish head is used at the upper and lower positions of the pressure vessel, or the left and right positions of the pressure vessel.
