Blank Cutting Advantages at Dingjin
The steel plates are cut at Dingjin according to the design dimensions of the dished head. There are various cutting methods, including flame cutting, plasma cutting and laser cutting, etc. Flame cutting is a traditional cutting method, suitable for thick steel plates. It uses the combustion of gases such as oxygen and acetylene to generate high-temperature flames to melt and cut the steel plate. The cost of flame cutting is relatively low, but the cutting accuracy and surface quality are relatively poor, and subsequent processing is required. Laser cutting is a high-precision cutting method. It uses the high energy density of the laser beam to melt and cut the steel plate instantly. Laser cutting has very high accuracy, smooth cuts, and almost no subsequent processing is required. However, the cost of laser cutting is relatively high, and it is suitable for cutting heads with high precision requirements.
Dingjin adopt plasma to cut the steel plate with various thicknesses which has the advantages of fast cutting speed, high precision and narrow cut. The surface quality of plasma cutting is good.

Dingjin's Stamping Processing
The main forming methods for dished heads include stamping, spinning and explosive forming, etc. Dingjin accept stamping to form these dished heads. Dingjin adopt proper press and dies to stamp steel plates into the specific shape of dished head. The advantages of stamping are high production efficiency and good forming quality, and it can manufacture dished heads of various shapes and sizes. However, stamping requires a large press and special dies, with a large equipment investment. For some large heads, stamping may be limited by the capacity of the press. During the stamping process, the stamping process parameters, such as stamping pressure, stamping speed and die clearance, need to be controlled well. Excessive stamping pressure may cause the head to crack or develop cracks, while insufficient stamping pressure may fail to form the head properly. The size of the die clearance also affects the forming quality of the head. A large die gap is prone to wrinkling, while a small die gap increases die wear. The technicians of Dingjin are of rich experience to guarantee the quality of shape and surface.

Surface Treatment at Dingjin
Galvanizing is a process of coating the surface of the head with a layer of zinc, which has excellent corrosion resistance and can effectively extend the service life of the dished head. During the surface treatment process, it is necessary to control the process parameters to ensure the quality of the surface treatment. At the same time, appropriate surface treatment agents and coatings should be selected to ensure their compatibility and adhesion with the material of the head. Generally, performed sand blasting and painting for carbon steel dished heads at Dingjin and pickling will be performed for stainless steel dished heads.
